As a long-time fragrance collector with almost 850 bottles, it's not very often these days that a fragrance comes along and blows my doors off. As I am new to this particular house of inspiration, Nu Scent, I thought that I would give them the true first test, and purchase their inspired version of Clive Christian's -No. 1. And with their 'attempt', they knocked this masculine, spicy, soapy, floral fragrance ...right out of the park!
A few years ago I purchased a 2ml sample of the OG, and upon first spray of Nu Scent's Imperial Uno, I was fortunate to live the euphoric reverse time-rush one experiences from time to time. I will say this to the younger generation reading this, make no mistake, this is a real gentleman's fragrance done in the style of 'old school'. Case in point; the first time I got my nose across this, I was mid 40's and I felt that I was not quite ready for it. Fast forward 10 years and now I'm in my mid 50's, and this fragrance and I are a match made in heaven. And as for sillage and longevity, this is a beast!
